The Bella Bag
This handmade leather purse measures 10 (H) x 13.5 (L) x 3.25 (W). The tooled and painted flowers represent the birth of loved ones in the wearer's family. Narcissus represents December, Gladiola is the birth flower for August, Calendula is the birth flower for October, Larkspur is the birth flower for July, and lily of the valley and snap dragons were also added to the purse because they are the wearer's mother's favorite flowers.
Burnt onto the back using an artform called pyrography is the wearer's precious little pup, Lady Bella. Her name is inscribed under her portrait. Dandelion seeds float across the back of the bag as well.
Inscribed under the flap of the bag are the words, "You've got to dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you've never been hurt, sing like there's nobody listening and live like its heaven on Earth."
Painted and tooled onto the strap of the purse is a monarch butterfly sitting atop a pink snap dragon.
The strap has added brass rivets for style and is very adjustable with a solid brass buckle.
The front flap latches shut with an antiqued brass swivel snap.
